Project Overview
This project is a branding and packaging design for a personal care line called Adalia Essentials. The collection includes body care, skincare, oral care, and hair care products such as body wash, deodorant, facial mousse, facial oil, hair oil, heat protector, moisturizer, perfume, shampoo, conditioner, and toothpaste. The goal was to create a cohesive, soft, and elegant brand that feels calming and visually appealing while clearly presenting product information.
The Problem
Many personal care products feel either too clinical or too playful, making it difficult to create a brand that feels both appealing and easy to understand. The challenge was to design a cohesive product line that simplifies information on packaging while maintaining a soft, elegant, and approachable look across multiple product types.
Target Audience
The brand is designed for teens and adults who value self-care, simplicity, and aesthetically pleasing products. Since many users are drawn to clean and calming visuals, the design needed to feel gentle, supportive, and easy to navigate while still appearing modern and elevated.
Concept & Approach
The concept is based on the idea of “soft, everyday essentials,” focusing on products that enhance daily routines and promote self-care. The design combines a consistent structure with delicate visual elements to create a system that feels both functional and visually calming.
Visual Design
A soft pastel color palette, primarily peach and cream tones, is used to create warmth and cohesion across the product line. Thin line botanical illustrations represent ingredients and add a natural, delicate touch. The layouts are clean and symmetrical, using spacing and alignment to guide the viewer’s eye across each label.
Typography & Layout
Typography is used to create a clear hierarchy, with larger serif headings for product names and smaller supporting text for descriptions and details. Short phrases such as “cleanse • soothe • refresh” help break up information and make the labels easy to scan.
Content Organization
Each product follows a consistent structure, including the brand name, product name, product type, benefits, scent, and size. This system is applied across all items—such as body wash, deodorant, facial mousse, oils, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and perfume—allowing the collection to feel unified and easy to understand.
Challenges
The main challenge was maintaining consistency across a wide range of product categories while adapting the design to different packaging forms like bottles, jars, tubes, and sprays. Another challenge was balancing minimalism with enough detail to keep the designs visually interesting.
Outcome
The final design is cohesive, soft, and visually engaging. It successfully creates a unified brand system that is easy to read and aesthetically appealing across all products. The Adalia Essentials line presents a complete collection that feels modern, organized, and ready for real-world use.
